Xishan Island Happy Farm(Xi Shan)

Set on Xishan Island in Taihu, Xishan Island Happy Farm is a countryside attraction aimed particularly at families with younger children, combining animals, outdoor play and seasonal farm activities in a large rural setting.

One of the main attractions is getting closer to the animals. Children can see and feed a variety of farm and smaller animals, making this a more hands-on experience than simply walking around an animal park.
There are also outdoor play areas and family activities, with attractions including a small sightseeing train and other children's rides and games. The emphasis is less on big-ticket amusement rides and more on spending a few relaxed hours outdoors.

Fruit and vegetable picking
Xishan Island is one of Suzhou's best-known agricultural areas, and seasonal picking is an important part of the experience. What's available changes throughout the year, with different fruits and vegetables harvested according to the season.

That makes the farm particularly appealing in spring and autumn, when the weather is comfortable for being outdoors and families can combine a visit with exploring more of Xishan Island.
