Suzhou Museum of Contemporary Art(Ferris Wheel Scenic Zone)

Suzhou's major new museum for modern and contemporary art, set on the eastern shore of Jinji Lake. Designed by internationally renowned architecture studio BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group, the waterfront complex consists of a series of interconnected pavilions beneath a flowing roof, creating a contemporary response to the relationship between architecture, water and landscape found in Suzhou's classical gardens.

Its opening exhibitions immediately established its international ambitions. Picasso and the World of His Influence explores Picasso's work and legacy, including the Vollard Suite, while the museum's opening programme also includes BIG: Materialism and major contemporary and technology-focused exhibitions.
Alongside exhibitions, the museum hosts talks, workshops and other cultural programmes, with restaurants, a café and museum shop distributed around the complex.
