Set beside Taihu in Suzhou Bay, Dreamlike Water World is a large outdoor summer water park covering around 121,000 sqm, with a tropical rainforest theme and attractions ranging from children's water-play areas to high-speed slides.
The park is divided into four themed areas and offers a good balance between family attractions and bigger rides. Highlights include Rainforest Tornado 雨林龙卷风, Saint Marie Adventure Island 圣玛丽冒险岛, Sea Drift 海上漂流, Rainforest Time Tunnel 雨林时空隧道 and Flying over Lake Alaotra 飞跃阿劳特拉湖.
The large wave pool is another centrepiece, producing waves reaching up to three metres during its major shows. There are also shallower water-play areas and attractions aimed at younger children, so families don't need to be interested in the biggest slides to spend a day here.
Summer entertainment
For the 2026 season, the park introduced a major bubble theme, with bubble performances, interactive shows and a Bubble Wonderland parade running throughout the summer.
After dark, the Dream Mountains & Rivers light show combines projections, lighting, mist, music and the wave pool to create a large-scale night-time spectacle.
Seasonal opening
Suzhou Bay Dreamlike Water World is primarily a summer attraction. The main 2026 water-park season began on June 18, with the summer bubble programme running through August 31.

Weekdays are the better bet during the summer holidays. The park can become very busy at peak times, particularly on hot weekends, with queues building for the major slides. If you're visiting with younger children, staying into the evening also lets you combine the water attractions with the summer performances and light show.
