Founded in Vuokatti, Finland in 2012, SuperPark was created around a simple idea: instead of parents watching from the sidelines, why not create somewhere adults and children can actually play and be active together?

Suzhou was one of SuperPark's earliest international locations, opening at Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre in September 2018 as the first in mainland China. Since then, the Finnish concept has spread around the world, with parks across five continents, including Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the UK.

The Suzhou park underwent a major renovation in 2025. Covering around 5,000 sqm, it's a large indoor activity park built around physical play, sports and challenges rather than conventional amusement rides.

There are three main activity zones — Adventure Area, Game Arena and Freestyle Hall — with activities including trampolines, climbing walls, slides, a zipline, scooters and skateboarding, basketball, baseball, golf and interactive digital challenges. Different activities cater to different ages and ability levels.

One of the things that makes SuperPark different from a typical children's indoor playground is that adults are encouraged to join in. Many activities are designed for parents and children to play together, while there is plenty to keep older children and teenagers occupied too.

Being completely indoors also makes it a useful year-round family option — particularly during Suzhou's wet weather, winter cold or hottest summer months.
