2026 Suzhou Open — WTA 125
International professional tennis returns to Suzhou this October as the Suzhou Open hosts a WTA 125 tournament at the Sungent International Tennis Center beside Yangcheng Lake.
Nearly 80 professional players from China and around the world are expected to compete in women's singles and doubles, with 58 matches scheduled across qualifying and the main tournament.
Qualifying takes place on October 3–4, followed by the main draw from October 5–11. The singles and doubles finals will both take place on October 11.

The Venue
Set beside Yangcheng Lake, Sungent International Tennis Center is Suzhou's largest international-standard tennis centre. It has 11 courts, including nine hard courts and two clay courts, with seating for around 1,000 spectators on Centre Court.

WTA 125 tournaments form part of the international professional women's tennis circuit and provide opportunities to see established tour players alongside emerging talent.
The 2026 Suzhou Open will feature a 32-player singles main draw and 16-team doubles draw.

The tournament coincides with the National Day Golden Week, and the venue is on Yangcheng Lake Peninsula. Qualifying on October 3–4 is free to watch, making those two days a particularly accessible way to experience international professional tennis in Suzhou.
